Kennie graduated from the University of North Dakota's J.D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences with a degree in Atmospheric Sciences and a minor in math.

Prior to joining the First Coast News Weather Team, Kennie worked at KTVE/KARD in Monroe, La and at KETK in Tyler, TX.

Kennie enjoys sharing her love of weather with students and organizations and encourages kids to go into science related fields.
